This smart and entertaining game show aimed at young grade-schoolers is loaded with well-conceived opportunities for thoughtful listener participation. During episodes running 11 to 14 minutes long, youthful hosts Natalie and Ezequiel explore (with unforced enthusiasm) such diverse themes as feelings, sea creatures, the weather, insects, and heavy construction. A “Real or Made Up” game, presenting listeners with seemingly factual statements, promotes critical thinking. “This or That” asks audiences to identify the categories where objects or animals belong. There are no wrong answers in the “Would You Rather” game, offering a choice between two theme-related options. (“Would you rather” feel calm watching a sunset on the beach, or gaze up at the stars in your pajamas?”) Among other regular features are puns, tongue twisters, and a “Three Clues” game that encourages the use of logic to figure out what hosts are describing. Audience response times are signaled by sound cues, followed by pauses.
