Designed for 2-4 players ages 8+ there’s more to this feline feeding frenzy than meets the eye: Furry Foodies calls for some strategic thinking and stealthy movement. The sly cat who manages to score the most sets and/or sequences of food tiles wins.
After choosing which cat personality to play, and shuffling the 88 game tiles (seriously, shuffle well), the 25-card game board is laid out in 5×5 grid. In turn, each player strategizes which food cards their pussy persona will move (two spaces at a time) in order to collect the shrimp, pizza, ice cream, etc. As tiles are pushed and collected, the now-empty spaces are filled with other tiles. But be careful with those pushy paws! Broken dishes are negative points, and opponent cats are off limits. Extra turn Catnip and wild card Cat Sak tiles add to the fun. Scoring options make players think, and the clear instructions include a variation for team play.
