Hair Love
Although Zuri’s hair has a mind of its own, she never has a bad hair day. She’s proud that her hair does so many things! It’s beautiful in kinks or curls, and it does magic tricks in the rain. Zuri’s a princess in beaded braids; she’s a superhero when it’s in two puffs. But when Zuri wants it to look “prefect” for a very special day, she calls on her Daddy to help.
Written by Matthew A. Cherry, illustrated by Vashti Harrison and impeccably embroidered by Blue Ivy Carter’s reading, Hair Love is a tribute: to the special bond between daughters and dads and to the happiness to be found in natural hair.
