A bubbly, upbeat, themed album of original songs promoting generosity and caring and respect for the Earth. The original songs sung by Emilia Lopez-Yañez and pianist Ruth Weber, and written by Weber and Enrico Lopez-Yañez, pick up from the previous Ruth and Emilia album, “The Spaceship That Fell in My Backyard,” with the return of the peaceful alien named URR. Tracks are about how a “Little Kid With a Great Big Heart” can make a difference, about ways to protect the environment (“We’re Goin’ Green” and “Turn It Into Something New”), and about the magic of growing things, of life in the sea, and the value of friendship. Enrico Lopez-Yañez did the catchy arrangements, layered with a children’s chorus and lively instrumentation—drums, brass, woodwinds, harmonica, and more.
