Math Bingo features five bingo games requiring children to correctly answer basic math problems to fill their cards: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and mixed problems. With five entertaining game types and three levels of difficulty and/or speed for each game, the app is a colorful fun way to practice math skills. The Bingo Bugs, their sound effects, and their animations are appealing and the game bright and colorful without being distracting. The Report Card feature, although not particularly detailed, gives the percentage of correct questions and allows parents to identify areas in need of improvement.
In addition to the Bingo games, there are three bonus games: Bingo Bug Bungee in which children collect as many coins as possible by launching their Bingo Bugs, Math Stack which is a Tetris-style game which requires children to correctly answer problems to remove blocks, and Math Fling in which players find Bingo Bugs by answering problems and then fling them into moving holes. The fun filled games (flash cards meet bingo) help children develop proficiency in basic math facts while also honing hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, processing and problem-solving.
