My First Game Petting Zoo
The “My First Game” series is designed to teach and develop skills through play. The concept of the Petting Zoo matching game – spin, touch, and match – has preschoolers fine-tuning motor and tactile skills, developing memory recall, and building their language and vocabulary.
Once the six textured animal shapes are placed inside the barn, players take turns by spinning the arrow on the multi-textured spinner. They then reach into the barn to feel around and find an animal with the matching texture. If they find a match, they “keep” that animal for the remainder of the game.
Our testers not only enjoyed playing the game, they also had fun using the barn and animals as a playset.
