Designed for 2 – 4 players, the concept is simple: be the first to get five tiles in a row — vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Player 1 places a tile on a flat surface; no game board required. The next player places her tile along any of the available sides (not corners) of any tile. As players work to claim five in a row, they’re also working to block opponents from doing the same. Run out of your 15 assigned color tiles? Start repositioning and keep playing.
Although age-graded for 8+, our testers used teams as a way to include younger players. The packaging is no fun to pry open, and there’s a trick to removing and replacing the tiles on the spindle: be sure the OK Play words are facing up. Obstacles mastered, this affordable portable game is fun, challenging, and always different.
