Our Generation Grill To Go Food Truck
From the Taco Trucks of the 70s to today’s locally sourced artisan fare, food trucks have spawned both beginning chefs and savvy eaters. Taking the wheel of the industry’s popularity, Battat steers its Grill to Go food truck directly to the worlds of pretend play.
The well-appointed 76-piece food truck playset includes the orange “Volkswagon-Bus” styled truck, play food and condiments, take-out boxes, “bamboo” eating utensils, string lights for ambience, and more. The roof and tailgate open for easy access. There’s a chalkboard to post daily specials; the grill, burners, oven timer, and fan hood make sounds like the real things, and can be turned on or off at the players’ direction. The windshield wipers move and the lights come on as the brake pedal is pushed. The drinks have removable tops and straws and the folding table attachment makes a dining counter out back. The required 3 AA batteries are included.
If that wasn’t enough to captivate imaginations, much of the food is in separate pieces so young chefs can prepare the house specials or accommodate request for a “cheeseburger with no cheese and no onions, just ketchup, please.”
