Pinna is a subscription audio service designed especially for kids. With a deep (and growing) library of hundreds of hours of content, there’s a lot to explore. There are trivia shows and podcasts, music, mysteries, fairy tales and biographies be they in the form of audio books, music or podcasts.
Discovering content is easy, and can be done via an age select, text search or by tapping icons for specific categories, including Dinosaurs, Things that Go, Music and many more. Much of the audiobook content comes from Scholastic (Goosebumps and Captain Underpants, Mo Willems’ treasures and the Magic School Bus as examples) but there is quite a bit of new material here as well, much of it as brilliantly conceived and produced podcasts. There’s Peace Out, a mindfulness series, as well as Noodle Loaf, a goofy collection of songs and audio puzzles that encourage kids and families to join in the fun. One of the wonderful features of audio books is their ability to include other sounds to enrich the experience as in the biography of Duke Ellington that includes some of his music.
Pinna listeners will feel fully transported, intrigued and engaged.
