The Little Snowplow Wishes for Snow
Author Lora Koehler and illustrator Jake Parker team up for a sequel to their 2015 picture book, “The Little Snowplow.” Having proven in the first picture book that he can pull his weight with the bigger and heavier vehicles in the Mighty Mountain Road Crew, the Little Snowplow has been helping his friends with their digging and lifting during throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Now he’s ready for winter—but where’s the snow? Koehler’s text and Parker’s colorful digitally-rendered pencil illustrations of vehicles with expressive faces will have children wishing for snow right along with the winsome, hard-working Little Snowplow. The book’s ending is a playful surprise.
