ThinkFun My First Rush Hour
Preschoolers may not be behind the wheel in a traffic jam, but they know when they’re in one.
My First Rush Hour merges colors, shapes, problem solving and fine motor skills onto a playful learning highway.
In each of the 30 challenges – from easy to hard – players must work to maneuver the red “hero” car through the maze and off the exit ramp.
Although presented as a single player game, our youngest testers (and their grownups) took a cooperative approach. They sat together and talked through each challenge, asking the child to explain how s/he came up with a solution and discussing “why” some solutions would or would not work.
And yes, these rush hour vocabulary words were absolutely family friendly.
